The commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces said that Ukraine is not losing to Russia in terms of the number of drones, and may even win. In the first two quarters of this year, the army received 6 times as many drones as in the entire last year.
Ukraine is not losing much to Russia in terms of the number of drones, and may even be winning. This was stated by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Vadym Sukharevskyi in an interview with Army TV, UNN reports.
"We are clearly better in the choice and maneuver of means. We have more than 165 developments of various kinds that are being tested and used on the battlefield...In terms of the number (of drones - ed.), we are clearly not losing much, perhaps I am even more inclined to believe that we will win," Sukharevsky said.
According to him, in the first two quarters of this year alone, 6 times as many drones have been delivered to the troops as in the entire last year.
"This is a joint victory of both the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense," Sukharevsky said.
Sukharevsky also said that at this stage, the charter of the Unmanned Systems Forces was developed.
It is already being tested and studied in the units. This is a public document at the level of a squad, platoon, company, and battalion that will be publicly available and will discuss doctrines and tactics.
