Ukraine introduced new diplomatic license plates

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced olive-colored license plates for diplomats instead of the old models. License plate 001 was given to a strategic partner instead of Russia.
Ukraine has introduced a new design for diplomatic license plates, which are now olive-colored. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha, as reported by UNN.
Details
Sybiha noted that previously, the first diplomatic number (001) belonged to Russia. Now the system has been updated: Russia has been stripped of this primacy, and number 001 has been assigned to diplomats of Ukraine's key strategic partner.
According to him, this decision reflects the new reality of international support and systematic work to cleanse Ukrainian space of Russian presence.
Olive is the color of diplomacy, a symbol of peace and mutual understanding. Today, for Ukraine, it is also the color of resilience - the color of our defenders' uniforms. And after victory, it will be the color of peace. The first license plates have already been received by representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps. This is a practical step in implementing new standards for diplomatic institutions and international organizations.
Sybiha also added that the system update has not only an image-related but also a security-related nature, and that the reform allows bringing the sphere in line with the norms of the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic Relations and more effectively responding to cases of unlawful use of special numbers.
