Ukrainians have completed over 500,000 car, moped, and motorcycle purchase and sale agreements through the "Diia" application. The vehicle re-registration service has been operating since December 2023: a vehicle can be sold anywhere, anytime, directly from a smartphone. This was reported by Diia, writes UNN.

Since December 2023, Ukrainians have been processing the sale of cars, mopeds, and motorcycles directly from their smartphones. Now, a vehicle can be sold anywhere, anytime.

For the transaction, the seller must have in Diia:

• ID card / foreign passport / residence permit;

• RNOKPP (taxpayer identification number);

• vehicle registration certificate;

• registered place of residence.

The buyer has the right to keep the old license plate or order a new one - with the DI series.

How it all works:

• the car is automatically checked in the register;

• if there are restrictions - the agreement will not be confirmed;

• after verification, the number is assigned and a new certificate, or technical passport, is formed;

• documents are delivered by Ukrposhta.

Important: If you chose a new DI number, you can use the car after receiving it. If you kept the old one, you can drive immediately after the e-certificate appears in Diia.
