US President Donald Trump stated that Iranian officials themselves initiated requests for new meetings due to powerful strikes from America. He believes that the likelihood of successful negotiations has increased.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that requests for new meetings came directly from Iranian officials, and added that they reached out directly "because we are hitting them very hard," reports UNN citing AP.
"We have good negotiations, so let's see what happens," Trump told reporters on Monday aboard Air Force One. "I think there is a higher probability that something could happen. And if it does, okay. If not, we will go back to what we were doing two days ago."
Trump dismissed the suggestion that his patience with negotiations could run out.
"I have plenty of time," he said.
