The U.S. President lashed out at Kurdish groups after they allegedly failed to deliver American weapons to anti-government protesters inside Iran. Expressing his dissatisfaction, he also stated that it is entirely unclear where the weapons ultimately ended up.

"I'm not happy with the weapons delivery. I'm not thrilled about it," Trump admitted to reporters on Friday.

"A small amount of weapons was sent, and we'll see who got them," Trump said, hinting that their location remains in question.

"But I'm not happy with what happened with the Kurds." "The Kurds didn't deliver the weapons," he said.

The weapons were sent to a Kurdish group based in northern Iraq on the condition that they would be handed over to Iranian protesters, the publication notes.

In early March, CNN reported that the CIA is allegedly involved in supplying weapons to Kurdish formations in order to intensify internal confrontations in Iran.
