For the drones: President announces increase in direct funding for brigades
Kyiv • UNN
The President announced an increase in direct funding for brigades to purchase drones. According to him, drones compensate for the shortage of artillery and ensure the destruction of the occupier's equipment.
Ukrainian brigades need more of their own funds to provide themselves with drones, so it is planned to increase the flow of direct funds to the brigades. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, presenting the Resilience Plan in parliament, a UNN correspondent reports.
Yesterday at the front we talked to brigade commanders about drones and innovations. The brigades need more of their own funds so that they can provide themselves with drones without bureaucracy. I support this, we definitely support it, and we will increase direct funds to the brigades. The state and volunteers provide a significant number of drones today, but the brigades themselves are even faster in identifying and meeting their needs
The President noted that 90% of the destruction of the occupier's equipment is provided by drones.
"Now, in some parts of the frontline, and these are our hottest spots, 90% of the destruction of the occupier's equipment is provided by drones. FPV drones and other drones actually compensate for the shortage of artillery in our army," Zelensky said.
