Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar won the Tour of Flanders for the second time, after a race on the Vieux Quaremont section. He beat former world champion Mads Pedersen and van der Poel.
Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar of the UAE Emirates team won his second Tour of Flanders on Sunday after a decisive race on the third section of Vieux Quaremont.

Road cycling world champion Tadej Pogačar won the Tour of Flanders for the second time since 2023 (an annual spring classic one-day cycling race that takes place in the Flemish region of Belgium - ed.).
Pogačar took the lead after 269 kilometers between Bruges and Oudenaarde with a gap of just under a minute from former world champion Dane Mads Pedersen and van der Poel. 19 kilometers before the finish, Pogačar launched a decisive attack on Oude Kwaremont

The goal was to win, but in the end it is difficult to achieve. But we did it! I am very proud of the team and how we rode, even when we were a bit unlucky. In the end, everything went well, and I am very happy to have won this race in this jersey.
