This is Moscow's signal to Washington: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding the strike on Kryvyi Rih
Kyiv • UNN
Russia struck Kryvyi Rih with a cluster missile, killing 18 people, including 9 children. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called it Moscow's signal to Washington.

Russia's cluster missile strike on Kryvyi Rih was aimed at civilians, including children. There was no military facility at the site of the impact, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said, writes UNN.
On Friday, April 4, the Russian Federation launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile strike on a residential area of the city of Kryvyi Rih, killing 18 people, including 9 children. 62 people, including 12 children, were injured to varying degrees of severity.
The ministry noted that the strike, which was carried out with a missile equipped with a cluster warhead (i.e., had a larger radius of destruction), was carried out on residential buildings, playgrounds and other civilian infrastructure.
The Foreign Ministry also stressed that the Russians are lying that the strike was carried out on a military target. It is noted that the facts from the site of the strike indicate the absence of any military targets. The goal of the aggressor state was a deliberate act of terror against civilians, which is another war crime and a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
With this barbaric attack against Ukrainian civilians and children, Russia demonstrates complete disregard for international peace efforts led by US President Donald Trump. This is a signal from Moscow to Washington that Putin will continue the war and kill Ukrainians until he feels a different level of pressure and force. Ukraine has been and remains committed to peace efforts and has taken concrete steps towards peace, unlike Russia, which continues to drag its feet and commit atrocities.
It is reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has already informed partners and international organizations about the details of the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih on April 4, the type of missile used and the consequences of this crime. Partners were called upon to make clear public reactions, condemn Russian crimes and take concrete actions to increase pressure on Moscow and strengthen Ukraine. This includes strengthening air defense and military assistance to protect the lives of Ukrainians.
We are grateful to those of our partners who have already spoken out, clearly condemned the actions of Russian criminals, and are providing concrete assistance.
Also, the Ukrainian side initiated the convening of meetings of a number of international organizations to properly respond to the Russian shelling of Kryvyi Rih and the constant shelling of residential areas of other Ukrainian cities.
Ukraine, together with its international partners, continues to document Russian crimes and work to ensure the inevitable punishment of Russian criminals for all their atrocities against Ukraine and Ukrainians.
Let us remind you

The number of victims has increased to 72, almost half of them in hospital. Earlier, the Russians struck the city with a ballistic missile, killing 19 people.
