Bad weather is raging in the south of Ukraine. In Odessa, the wind knocked down trees on the tram tracks, traffic was suspended. In Mykolaiv and Kherson, snow and ice made it difficult for traffic to move, and communal services are working. This was reported by local authorities, writes UNN.

Odessa

In the morning in Odessa, on French Boulevard, trees were knocked down by the wind. They fell on the tram tracks. In this regard, the tram traffic was temporarily suspended. Emergency crews worked at the scene. Currently, the tram traffic has been restored, reported in the Odessa City Council.

Mykolaiv

It snowed in Mykolaiv today. "After +18 to see snow and -1 on the thermometer is unusual. I appeal to drivers: if you have already "changed shoes" - please do not go out on summer tires. It is dangerous for everyone," said the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Senkevych.

According to him, communal workers are working in an enhanced mode. "We have a list of roads where bad weather most often provokes traffic jams. Communal workers are focusing their efforts there," Senkevych said.

Due to the complicated weather conditions, the movement of trolleybuses and trams in Mykolaiv, according to the mayor, is carried out with a delay in traffic schedules.

Kherson and region

The weather in Kherson is anomalous for southern April. "Winter has returned - there is ice on the roads, wet snow is sticking, traffic is difficult, trees are broken. Our communal workers are working to quickly eliminate the consequences of bad weather," wrote the head of the Kherson MVA, Roman Mrochko.

Due to the deterioration of weather conditions, there is ice on the roads of Kherson region. "I urge drivers not to leave without urgent need. Pedestrians, be careful, stay at home if possible. All communal services are working in an enhanced mode!" - said the head of the Kherson OVA Oleksandr Prokudin.
