MPs are discussing a monthly tax for electric car owners based on the vehicle's price. For a car worth 30,000 dollars, one would have to pay 4,000.
Ukraine may introduce a monthly tax for electric vehicle owners, the amount of which will depend on the car's value. This was stated by Member of Parliament Serhiy Nahorniak, reports UNN.

According to him, a gradation could be introduced depending on the price of the vehicle.
"There could be a gradation for car categories. For a car worth about 30 thousand dollars, it would be approximately 4 thousand hryvnias per month," he noted.
At the same time, such an initiative has not yet been registered in the Verkhovna Rada and remains only at the discussion level.
