The number of casualties from Russia's morning drone strike on Kharkiv has risen to 9, including three children, the city's mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram, according to UNN.

According to the State Emergency Service, the Russian drone attack hit a residential area.
"38 private houses were damaged," Terekhov reported.
