The deputy energy minister said that she does not expect any blackouts over the weekend. The situation in the energy system has stabilized, but may change due to Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

Deputy Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said that even if the heat returns, the ministry hopes that there will be no significant blackout schedules like there were in July. Hrynchuk said this during a telethon on Saturday, UNN reports.

No outage schedules are expected today or over the weekend. As we have seen in recent weeks, the situation has stabilized significantly, and scheduled repairs at nuclear units are being completed. We also plan to add additional capacity to the power system. Even if the heat returns, we hope that we will not have such significant outage schedules as we experienced in July
