The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reimbursed over UAH 20 million for breach of contract

More than UAH 20 million was reimbursed to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, often due to contractor breaches. Real estate and land plots were also transferred to the Ministry's ownership.
Since the beginning of September, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has recovered this year, more than UAH 20 million has been recovered. The penalties mainly relate to violations of of the terms of contracts concluded between the Ministry of Defense and contractors. Since the beginning of September 2023, the courts of Ukraine have issued 78 court decisions in favor of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine - five of them have been fully in full. UAH 21,206,001.68 was recovered in favor of the Ministry. The recoveries are mainly related to mainly relate to violations of the terms of contracts concluded between the the Ministry of Defense and its contractors,
It is reported that real estate was also returned to the management of the Ministry of of Defense during this period, real estate in Odesa region with a total area of 1 717 square meters and two land plots of 0.2 hectares were registered under the Ministry. hectares in Khmelnytskyi region.
