The head of the Mykolaiv regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center was detained while receiving $10,000. In total, the receipt of $15 thousand in undue benefit was documented.

Today, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center was detained while receiving an illicit benefit, and a notice of suspicion is being prepared. Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko reported this, according to UNN.
Details
According to the investigation, the official received US$10,000 for not taking mobilization measures against three persons liable for military service, removing them from the wanted list in the "Oberih" system, and creating conditions for their subsequent unhindered reservation through their place of employment.
The Prosecutor General added that earlier, as part of the same proceedings, the receipt by him of another US$5,000 had been documented. In exchange for this money, he was supposed to prevent a mobilized man from being sent to a military unit and return him for a repeat military medical examination. In total, the receipt of US$15,000 in illicit benefits has been documented.
The official was detained pursuant to Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Searches are being conducted at his place of service and residence, as well as other initial investigative actions. A notice of suspicion is being prepared in connection with the receipt of an illicit benefit. The prosecution will request that the suspect be held in custody and suspended from office.
