The European Union Avenue will be closed in Kyiv: the metro is being built to Vynohradar

From April 5, traffic and pedestrians will be closed on part of the European Union Avenue. This is due to the construction of the metro to Vynohradar, the KMDA will announce traffic changes.
Transport will run according to a temporary scheme, new traffic changes will be announced in the KCSA additionally, reports UNN.

Traffic and pedestrian traffic on a part of European Union Avenue will be closed from April 5 for the construction of a metro to Vynogradar. A section of the Syretsko-Pecherska metro line will be built from the "Syrets" station to the Vynogradar residential area with an electric depot in the Podilskyi district. - informs the executive body of the Kyiv City Council.
The press service noted that during the works, transport will run according to a temporary traffic management scheme. It will be preliminarily approved by the Patrol Police Department in Kyiv. There may be changes in the operation of наземного passenger transport, the KCSA will inform about this additionally.
