During the day, 317 combat engagements took place, most of them in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions. The enemy used 202 guided aerial bombs and over 8,000 kamikaze drones.
317 combat engagements occurred at the front over the past day, which is more than the day before; up to a third took place in two sectors - Pokrovsk and Huliaipole, the General Staff of the AFU reported in its morning briefing on May 28, showing a map of hostilities, UNN reports.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 68 air strikes, dropping 202 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 8,359 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,714 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including 45 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit seven areas of enemy manpower concentration.
Situation by sectors
In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, the aggressor launched one air strike using one KAB (guided aerial bomb) over the past day, carried out 69 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including four using MLRS. Four enemy assault actions were recorded.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 11 times in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Prylypka, and towards Izbytske and Ternova.
In the Kupiansk sector, our defenders stopped nine enemy attempts to advance towards the settlements of Kivsharivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and in the areas of Novoiehorivka, Holubivka, and Pishchane.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy tried to wedge into our defense 11 times towards Lyman, Drobysheve, Torske, Yampil, and in the areas of Kolodiazi, Stavky, and Shandryholove.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy launched eight assaults towards the settlements of Zakitne, Kalenyky, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy conducted three offensive actions in the areas of Fedorivka Druha and Minkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 66 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Zatyshshia, Muravka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and towards the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Serhiivka, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Myrne, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked once, in the area of the settlement of Zlahoda.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 35 attacks in the areas of Rybne, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, and towards Nove Zaporizhzhia, Huliaipilske, Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrainka, Pryvillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Sviatopetrivka, Hirke, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders stopped nine enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Stepnohirsk, Shcherbaky, Plavni, Mali Shcherbaky, and Mala Tokmachka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
