"The State Logistics Operator refused to provide services to one of the food suppliers to the Armed Forces, as the latter delivered only 25% of the required volume of products in the first week, failing to fulfill its contractual obligations.

"The State Logistics Operator has refused to provide services to one of the food suppliers to the Armed Forces under new contracts due to unsatisfactory fulfillment of its obligations. The company in question is Cherkasy Meat Processing Plant, which delivered only 25% of the required amount of food to military units in the first week. This is reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the DOT.

It is noted that in order to ensure the continuity of food supply for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the areas with a low level of order fulfillment are distributed among other suppliers:

- Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions - orders will be sent to Food Grand. The price per set is UAH 118.38 and UAH 104.94, respectively;

- Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions - orders will be sent to Yug Prod Torg. The price per set is UAH 119.7;

- Donetsk and Dnipro regions. Negotiations were held with the companies that submitted commercial offers at the request of the DOT to conclude contracts without using the electronic system in March this year, but were not contracted due to higher prices than the winners. The negotiation procedure revealed the readiness of Kontrakt Prodreserv 5 to immediately perform the supply. The relevant agreement was signed. The shipments will begin today. The price per set is UAH 118.02.

The DOT clarified that business relations with the Cherkasy Meat Processing Plant will be permanently terminated after it delivers the volume of products stipulated by the contract to military units.

It was added that suppliers will be subject to penalties and fines for late payment of their obligations under the contracts.
