The communication hub of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol was seriously damaged, which had significant consequences for the enemy's naval operations and logistics.

The communication center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was seriously damaged, causing significant damage. This was stated by the speaker of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Pletenchuk during a telethon on Monday, March 25, UNN correspondent reports.

A naval base is the structure that ensures the activities of the fleet as a whole. Therefore, it can be not only communication (we are talking about the consequences for the enemy - ed.), it can also be supply, maintenance, and many other issues that are directly addressed by the naval base. We will update the information, but as of now, I can say that yes, the operation was successful - the blow was serious and the damage was significant

- Pletenchuk said.

He also added that in addition to the damaged base in the Black Sea, the Russians have two other naval bases, including one in Novorossiysk.

"Will it be able to cope with so many tasks - no. It was not designed for this number of ships. Nevertheless, they still have some logistics tools. And in general, there are various ways to solve such problems. But they all seriously delay the process of preparing a ship for sea and, of course, greatly complicate the work of military logistics," Pletenchuk said.

He also confirmed the destruction of a warehouse with fuel and lubricants of the Russian fleet.
