The Czech defense company Primoco UAV SE has received permission to build a new production facility for drones. This was reported by the company's press service, writes UNN.

Details

The construction of the plant in the city of Písek is planned to begin in 2028, with an investment of about 750 million Czech crowns, or 36 million dollars. The new facilities will allow increasing drone production to 300 units per year.

The project envisages the creation of not only a factory, but a full-fledged technological complex that will include a production workshop, administrative buildings, an exhibition hall, and a pilot training center.

The project will unite the company's entire value creation chain – from development and production to presentation and training

– the company noted.

The facility will be located near Písek-Krašovice Airport, where hangars and training facilities are already under construction. The company's main product is the Primoco One 150 drone, of which more than 250 units have already been manufactured and are used on several continents.

Among the operators of these drones is Ukraine – they were transferred as part of defense assistance from Luxembourg and Germany.
