The Center for Countering Disinformation refutes the russian propaganda fake that the Ukrainian government plans to "sell off the entire healthcare system" by privatizing hospitals and clinics.

russian propaganda has begun spreading fakes that the Ukrainian government plans to "sell off the entire health care system in the country."  This was stated by the Center for Countering Disinformation, UNN reports.

Details

As explained by the CPD, the russians say that the "sale" is planned so that officials can enrich themselves by privatizing hospitals, clinics and sanatoriums, and  the Verkhovna Rada is allegedly already considering a bill to that effect.

In fact, this document only provides for the possibility of including healthcare facilities that have not been used for medical care for at least 3 years in the list of objects subject to privatization

The Ministry emphasizes that the draft law does not contain conditions for large-scale privatization of medical institutions.
