The Government appointed Yuriy Vlasenko and Ruslan Slobodian as members of the NEURC for a six-year term. They previously held the positions of First Deputy Minister of Energy and Head of the State Agency for State Energy Supervision, respectively.

The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed former First Deputy Minister of Energy Yuriy Vlasenko and former head of the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate Ruslan Slobodian as members of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities (NKREKP). This was reported by UNN with reference to the relevant government decrees.

"To appoint Yuriy Mykolayovych Vlasenko as a member of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission for a term of six years," reads the decree No. 703-r.

"To appoint Ruslan Oleksandrovych Slobodian as a member of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission for a term of six years," reads the decree No. 704-r.

Addendum

According to the law "On the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission," the NEURC consists of seven members, including the chairman: Valeriy Tarasyuk (chairman), Ruslan Kaydash, Konstantin Ushchapovsky, and Oleksandr Formagay.

Recall

Yesterday, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Yuriy Vlasenko from the post of First Deputy Energy Minister and Ruslan Slobodian from the post of head of the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate.

The Cabinet of Ministers also dismissed Nazar Tanasyshyn from the post of Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
