Tax exemption for mobilized sole proprietors: Kravchenko stated that work is underway to increase the deadline for submitting documents
Kyiv • UNN
Demobilized sole proprietors have only 10 days to submit documents for tax exemption. The State Tax Service is working with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense to increase this period.

To be exempted from taxation, it is necessary to submit an application and a number of documents. However, demobilized sole proprietors have only 10 days to do so. It is difficult to meet this deadline, so the tax authorities are working with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense to extend this deadline. This was announced by the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, reports UNN.
Today with the STS team in Khmelnytskyi region. A constructive and meaningful meeting was held with representatives of the region's business community with the participation of the Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration Serhiy Tyurin and People's Deputy Igor Marchuk
He said that more than 50 entrepreneurs - representatives of small, medium and large businesses - joined the dialogue.
Exemption from taxation of mobilized sole proprietors. This issue was raised during the meeting by one of the veterans who personally faced this problem. To be exempted from taxation, it is necessary to submit an application and a number of documents. However, demobilized sole proprietors have only 10 days to do so. As practice has shown, it is extremely difficult to meet this deadline. I am grateful to our defender for raising this issue. This is how - through dialogue and support for each other - we can really help those who defend the country
According to him, changes to the legislation are needed to increase this period.
We are already working on this with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense. We will also expect prompt decisions from the Parliament. I also instructed the STS staff to immediately conduct an inventory of similar situations in order to help our defenders as much as possible
He also spoke about another problematic issue.
We have many appeals from relatives of missing mobilized sole proprietors. Their sole proprietorships continue to receive tax charges, debts accumulate, and accounts are blocked. We are also working on this issue within the framework of our proposals for amendments to the legislation. Because there is no mechanism to suspend or cancel accruals if the entrepreneur himself does not apply
Kravchenko noted that a number of other important topics were also discussed:
• risk system and blocking of tax invoices;
• rechecks;
• business support in times of war;
• STS digital services and transparency of tax administration.
I am grateful to the business community for their activity. Thanks to such meetings, we see in which areas we need to strengthen our work so that the tax service is a true partner for our entrepreneurs
