According to the Taiwanese defense ministry, the bullets
were at an altitude of about 8.2 km. They continued to move eastward and later disappeared.
The Taiwanese military also reported the appearance of a balloon near the island from the
on December 8.
Besides, last day the Taiwanese army spotted six Chinese aircrafts in the area of
six Chinese aircraft and two ships near the island. One of the aircraft -

of the island.
Taiwan is a self-governing island with a democratically elected
National Assembly. However, China still considers the territory its own and
has threatened to use force if the Taiwanese authorities officially declare the island
as a separate state. The line that was crossed is a kind of unofficial border between
China and Taiwan in the Taiwan Strait.
