Taiwan's Ministry of Defense reported that two Chinese reconnaissance balloons crossed the centerline of the Taiwan Strait, moving eastward at an altitude of 8.2 km, and then disappeared. In addition, the island's military spotted six Chinese planes and two ships in the vicinity.

According to the Taiwanese defense ministry, the bullets were at an altitude of about 8.2 km. They continued to move eastward and later disappeared. The Taiwanese military also reported the appearance of a balloon near the island from the on December 8.
Besides, last day the Taiwanese army spotted six Chinese aircrafts in the area of six Chinese aircraft and two ships near the island. One of the aircraft - a Y-8 anti-submarine aircraft, crossed the centerline of the Taiwan Strait to the west of the island.
