According to the publication, Starmer is allegedly interested in the position of NATO Secretary General, which will become vacant in 2028. At the same time, to obtain this position, he will need the support of the British government and allies.
According to the Observer, Starmer's supporters emphasize that during the G7 summit he demonstrated high authority among European leaders and also maintains close relations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
