A 28-year-old Russian FSB officer who illegally detained Ukrainians and supervised filtration camps in Zaporizhzhia will be brought to trial. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, UNN reports .
Details
It is the son of the head of security Viktor Yanukovych. The 28-year-old Russian FSB officer organized the illegal detention of Ukrainians, searches of their personal property and interrogations with the use of physical violence and mock executions.
Illegally detained persons were taken to a filtration camp on the territory of the temporary detention center No. 2 of the Kamiansko-Dniprovskyi Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia region. According to preliminary estimates, up to a hundred people were held there. Those who managed to escape are currently providing testimony to the Ukrainian police and telling the world's media about their horrific experience,
A 51-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia who managed to escape from the filtration camp told El Figaro that this man organized all the torture.
On his orders, I was beaten and strangled. He imitated my execution and told me that two Chechen divisions would come and rape me,
In between torture, the occupier forced the woman to confess to Russian media cameras that she was helping the Ukrainian army. This information was spread among local traitors who killed the victim's dogs and threatened her life and health.
National Police investigators have already identified 67 similar places of detention for Ukrainians, 42 of which are located in Russia. All filtration activities in these places are carried out according to a methodology developed by the Russian Federal Security Service. It is aimed at singling out patriotic Ukrainians and their further moral breakdown.
Addendum
In January 2024, the curator of the Kamiansko-Dniprovskyi filtration camp was served by the Russian FSB under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office with a notice of suspicion of violation of the laws and customs of war committed by prior conspiracy (part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), which provides for up to fifteen years in prison.
At present, the National Police investigators have submitted the criminal proceedings with the indictment against the defendant to the court of Zaporizhzhia city.
