Russian troops carried out 57 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The hottest situation is on the Pokrovsk direction, where 19 assaults took place.
Since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 57 times. The occupiers are showing the greatest activity in the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole, and Sloviansk directions, reports UNN citing the briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the military, the situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy carried out 19 assault actions, most of which have already been repelled. The occupiers also actively attacked in the Huliaipole direction (12 attacks), Sloviansk (10), and Kostiantynivka (8). Fighting continues in some areas.
In addition, the Russian army continues to shell the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, and also launched airstrikes on the settlements of Hlukhiv and Luzhky in Sumy region.
The General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian troops continue to restrain the offensive actions of the enemy and inflict losses on them along the entire front line.
