Law enforcement officers are investigating abuses by UZ officials that led to a shortage of tickets for international flights. Searches are conducted in the offices, trains and places of residence of suspects.

The National Police, with the assistance of Ukrzaliznytsia , is conducting investigative actions in the case of abuse of international passenger transportation by officials, the Kyiv police said on Wednesday .

Investigative actions are carried out in the framework of criminal proceedings, which are being investigated on the facts of abuse of a group of officials of the Ukrzaliznytsia division during the service and transportation of passengers by international trains.

The actions of the defendants led to significant losses and the creation of an artificial shortage of tickets for the most popular routes on Free Sale

In the morning, operatives of the Department of strategic investigations of the National Police, Investigators of the Kiev police and employees of the Solomiansk District Prosecutor's office, with the involvement of employees of the Corporate Security Department of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", conduct investigative actions at the places of residence of employees involved in criminal schemes, in the office premises of the structural division of UZ.

In addition, investigative actions will take place on international trains during their departure and arrival.

The police asked passengers to understand the situation and assist law enforcement officers in performing their official duties.
