Russia's losses from Ukrainian attacks on the oil industry since the beginning of the year have reached $7 billion - Zelenskyy

Since the beginning of the year, the aggressor state has lost at least 7 billion dollars directly from Ukraine's precision sanctions against the Russian oil industry and refining. This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to UNN.

Details

As the President reported, based on the results of this April, our long-range sanctions have reached a new level in three components: the reduction of Russian oil profits, the distance, and the intensity of the sanctions. It is important that not only is the target itself reached, as defined by the combat mission, but the downtime of the facility is increased, or at least there is a tangible reduction in its operation.

According to the most modest estimates, the aggressor state has lost at least 7 billion dollars since the beginning of the year directly from our precision sanctions against the Russian oil industry and refining: from hits, downtime, and delays in shipments

- Zelenskyy added.

He thanked all the warriors of the Defense Forces of Ukraine who, together with the SBU and our intelligence services, ensure this result.

We will scale up the direction of our long-range systems. We are preparing solutions. Glory to Ukraine!

- Zelenskyy concluded.
