Law enforcement officers are investigating the shooting of five Ukrainian prisoners of war near Novodarovka in Zaporizhia. A unit of the Russian army involved in the crime was identified and video evidence of the incident was obtained.

According to preliminary data, on November 24, 2024, near the village of Novodarovka, Pologovsky district, Zaporozhye region, where active military operations continue, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation shot five Ukrainian defenders out of six captured
As reported, law enforcement officers have identified a unit of the army of the invaders, whose servicemen are now being checked for involvement in this crime. Investigators also received a video recording of the moment of the shooting.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the procedural leadership of the Zaporozhye regional prosecutor's office on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier, UNN reported that in the Donetsk region, the invaders captured and shot 5 Ukrainian soldiers who were hiding in a private house.
