Russian strike on Kherson train station: one policeman killed, two others wounded

A police lieutenant was killed and two others were injured as a result of Russian shelling of Kherson's railway station during the evacuation of people.
In Kherson, a police lieutenant from Kirovohrad region was killed during a Russian attack on the train station, and two more police officers were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds . Two civilians were also injured. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, UNN reports.
"Kherson. Evening. About 140 civilians were waiting for an evacuation train at the railway station. At this time, the enemy started a massive shelling of the city," said Klymenko.
According to him, the police officers who were on duty at the station immediately began evacuating people. Thanks to the precise actions of the police, everyone was brought to safety. Two civilians who received shrapnel wounds are being treated.
"Unfortunately, a police lieutenant from Kirovohrad region was killed in the shelling. He was on duty in Kherson as part of a combined unit. He was fatally wounded during the evacuation of people. Our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased... Two more police officers are in hospital with shrapnel wounds," added Klymenko.
The Minister emphasized that "this latest war crime of Russia is being carefully documented."
"They will be held accountable. For everything," Klymenko summarized.
