Russia is introducing fines for using foreign email addresses and services to log into web resources. The State Duma's new ban cuts off Russians' access to independent software and drives users under the total control of special services. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), according to UNN.

The State Duma has banned Russians from using any foreign email addresses or services for authorization. From now on, Russians can only authorize using Russian phone numbers, the "Gosuslugi" state portal, or biometrics.

Website owners who retain authorization via non-Russian services will be fined up to 700,000 rubles (about $10,000).

This law has become the Kremlin's latest step toward establishing total state control over the Russian internet space. Blocking foreign services, constant mobile internet shutdowns, and network censorship under the guise of "white lists" — all these steps are aimed at isolating Russians from independent information sources and subjecting everyone to control and the propaganda of war and hatred,
