Russian Defense Ministry lied about capturing Myropillia in Sumy region – military debunked the fake
Kyiv • UNN
The "Kursk" task force refuted Russian claims of advancement in the Sumy region. The village of Myropillia remains under the full control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russian Ministry of Defense lied about the Russian army making advances in the Sumy region; the settlement of Myropillia remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the "Kursk" Group of Forces, according to UNN.
Details
It is noted that the information regarding the Russian seizure of Myropillia is nothing more than "Russian fantasies."
"We officially declare that this is an outright lie. The 'Kursk' Group of Forces reports: our units control the area, there has been no enemy advance, nor have there been any assault operations in that area over the past few days,"
The military points out that they are once again observing "informational convulsions ahead of another 'sacred date'."
"May 9 is approaching – the main fetish of Russian military mythology. It is telling that their so-called 'SMO' has already lasted longer than the war whose victory the Russians celebrate. But orders and medals are needed annually, so settlements are 'captured' at least in information reports. We suspect that at this rate, by May 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense will report the capture of the entire Sumy region,"
They assure that they continue to work and provide information on what is actually happening, and urge people to remain calm and trust only official sources.
Recall
Recently, the Center for Strategic Communications stated that the head of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, once again reported a lie about the "full occupation" of the Luhansk region.
