On the night of Saturday, August 10, the Russian authorities introduced a counterterrorist operation in the Kursk and Belgorod regions in addition to the Bryansk region. This was reported by the Russian media, UNN reports .

According to the Russian media, referring to the acting governor of the Kursk region, it was reported that a counterterrorism operation was also introduced in the Kursk region. Soon after, it was reported that similar measures were taken in the Belgorod region.
The regime of the counter-terrorist operation in the Russian Federation provides for the strengthening of public order, temporary resettlement of citizens, restriction of traffic, document checks and control of telephone conversations.
