Passengers from Kherson have safely reached Mykolaiv after Russians attacked their train. Flights have been rerouted and rail service is continuing as damage is being assessed.
Passengers of the Kherson train attacked by Russia safely reached Mykolaiv by bus, UNN reports, citing Ukrzaliznytsia.
UZ added that the train to Kyiv will depart according to the dispatch schedule. Tomorrow, flights from Kramatorsk, Lviv, and Kyiv to Kherson will be tentatively sent to Mykolaiv.
"We are currently assessing the damage to the station and railcars and monitoring the condition of our injured employees. Please follow the official information on Ukrzaliznytsia's channels," the statement said.
