Airports in Makhachkala, Krasnodar, and other Russian cities have introduced fuel limits. Foreign aircraft will only be refueled upon agreement with the supplier.

Russian airports begin mass restrictions on aircraft refueling

In Russia, airports have begun reporting restrictions on aircraft refueling. This is being observed at the airports of Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Krasnodar, Astrakhan, and Nizhny Novgorod, reports UNN with reference to Russian "media."

Details

The notices recommend that airlines take these restrictions into account when planning flights. One of them states that Astrakhan airport provides aircraft refueling only in the amount stipulated by the flight plan.

At the same time, foreign aircraft will be refueled only upon agreement with the fuel supplier and only with the amount of fuel necessary to perform the flight, reported the "media" of the aggressor country.

Furthermore, such restrictions do not imply a decrease in the level of flight safety.

As a reminder

According to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics, Russia's economy is approaching the limit of its capabilities after more than four years of full-scale war against Ukraine. The country's financial reserves are largely exhausted, economic growth has effectively stalled, and dependence on China continues to grow.
