Russia turns teachers into propagandists in occupied territories - CPD
Kyiv • UNN
Russia systematically indoctrinates children in occupied territories, preparing teachers for ideological work. A conference on "historical and spiritual values" was held in Berdiansk as part of the Kremlin's strategy.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Russia is intensifying systematic ideological work with children, in particular through the training of current and future teachers. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation, reports UNN.
Details
According to the CCD, the ideological indoctrination of children in the temporarily occupied territories is becoming increasingly systematic and aggressive in nature. The Russian state pays special attention to preparing teachers for the so-called "correct" ideological work with children.
As an example, they cited a scientific conference on "historical and spiritual values" that took place at the "Azov State Pedagogical University named after Osipenko" in occupied Berdyansk.
The CCD notes that such measures are part of the Kremlin's long-term strategy. The Russian leadership understands that it is impossible to hold the occupied territories solely with the help of the army, so it is trying to establish control over the worldview of the local population.
The most vulnerable target of this policy is children, as their worldview is still being formed and they are particularly sensitive to influence from teachers.
The Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized that such measures effectively turn pedagogical universities into centers of ideological training, and teachers into an instrument of Russian propaganda.
