The head of the Polish MFA stated that Russia could organize a "false flag" operation to justify aggression against Alliance countries. He emphasized that Ukraine's successful resistance has limited Russia's resources for an invasion of NATO's eastern flank.
Russia may organize a provocation against its own territory to create a pretext for an attack on one of the NATO countries. This possibility is not ruled out by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski. He stated this in an interview with CBS News, reports UNN.

According to the head of Polish diplomacy, the Kremlin may resort to a scenario of a so-called "false flag" operation to try to justify aggression against member states of the Alliance.
I would not rule out that the Russians could organize some "false flag" operation against their own territory to get a pretext for a strike on one of the NATO countries. We must convey to Putin that we understand his intentions, we cannot be deceived, and such an attack would be absolutely unacceptable. We will defend every inch of NATO territory
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine's effective resistance has significantly limited Russia's capabilities for potential aggression against the Alliance's eastern flank.
