Chief of the GUR Budanov reported on a new threat - the massive use of fiber-optic drones by Russia. Ukraine is looking for a technological solution to combat them.

Ukraine is still winning the drone war, but the Russians have started using fiber-optic drones on a massive scale. This is a huge problem for the Ukrainian side, because it is impossible to stop them with electronic warfare. This was stated by the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov during a telethon on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"We are still winning the drone war, but the Russians have started using fiber-optic drones en masse. This is a huge problem for us now, because it is impossible to stop them with electronic warfare, I mean the use of FPV drones," Budanov said.

He emphasized that it is necessary to look for a technological solution to deal with the huge number of such devices.

"Next year, I think we will all work together to find some technological solution to deal with the huge number of such devices," Budanov said.
