A photographer for French President Emmanuel Macron posted black-and-white photos on social media of him fiercely boxing with a punching bag, earning him the nickname "Rocky.
The photographer of French President Emmanuel Macron, Soazig de la Moissonnière, posted two black-and-white photos of the head of state boxing on his Instagram page. After this, Macron's new name "Rocky" began to circulate on social media, UNN reports.

The black-and-white photos show Macron in the process of fiercely punching a punching bag. The post with them gained thousands of likes and hundreds of comments, sparking heated discussions.
People began to joke online that 46-year-old President Macron was clenching his biceps in the photos. Some users said that the photo could hardly be called scary.
Commentators also suggest that Macron's muscles in the photos were enlarged using a photo editor, so they do not appear in earlier shots.
