Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba explained that when French President Emmanuel Macron spoke about sending troops to Ukraine, he meant the possibility of training Ukrainian soldiers directly in Ukraine rather than deploying foreign combat units.

French President Emmanuel Macron speaking about the introduction of troops into Ukraine only wanted to say that there is an opportunity to train Ukrainian soldiers directly in Ukraine, not outside of it. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this in an interview with  La Stampa, reports UNN.

When Macron talked about bringing troops into Ukraine, European leaders panicked. Macron only wanted to say that there was a possibility of training Ukrainian soldiers directly in Ukraine, not outside of it, as is happening now

- Culeba said.

Kuleba reiterated that Kiev needs ammunition and weapons as soon as possible.

We've never asked for men and combat troops, we're proud of our soldiers.

He noted that Rassi's goal remained the same - to seize all of Ukraine.

"If they succeed, they will move to attack other countries in Europe and Central Asia because they are driven by expansionist goals. I think it is clear now that Putin wants to restore the influence of the Soviet Union and the Russian empire," Kuleba said.
