As Zelenskyy noted, SES rescuers spent more than 15 hours extinguishing fires that broke out as a result of Russia's combined attack on cities and communities. The dismantling of dangerous structures is still ongoing.

Unfortunately, the number of injured has increased: in Kyiv alone, more than 80 people sought medical help, including three children. Capital police have already received more than 540 reports of damaged property

- the message reads.

Zelenskyy noted that with today's strike, Russia tried to destroy not only lives but also memory. About 40% of the museum items from the exposition of the National Museum "Chernobyl" are irretrievably lost.

Rescuers and museum staff began evacuating exhibits immediately after the strike. In particular, they managed to save items from the storage facilities, a painting by Maria Prymachenko, and the flag of Ukraine that was raised at the Chornobyl NPP immediately after de-occupation in 2022.

We thank everyone working at the sites of the shelling: rescuers, police officers, national guardsmen, medics, and utility workers. Today, hundreds of volunteers were also on the streets of the capital helping emergency services. In moments of terror, Ukrainians once again demonstrate their unity and strength to the whole world
