More than 500 sports facilities in Ukraine were destroyed or damaged as a result of the Russian invasion, some of which remained in the occupied territories.
Due to the Russian invasion, more than 500 sports facilities were lost or partially damaged, and some remained in the occupied territories. This was announced by the President of the National Olympic Committee Vadym Gutzeit during a briefing, according to a correspondent of UNN.
"We have lost more than 500 sports facilities, partially or completely. Many sports facilities remained in the occupied territories," says Gutzeit.
According to him, training of Ukrainian athletes in the war is very difficult, and for the last six months they have been training abroad.

In the two years since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine has already restored 513 medical facilities that were destroyed by the occupying forces.
