The liquidation of these drugs took place after the relevant verdict of the Zaliznychnyi District Court of Lviv.

At that time, four people were detained in Lviv: one of the organizers of drug trafficking and three foreigners who packaged drugs in rented warehouses. Law enforcement officers found 1035 kg of heroin prepared for transportation.

Reportedly, the "cargo" was heading from Pakistan in transit through Ukraine to the European Union. The drug was hidden in a container among foodstuffs.

Based on the SBU materials, all the detained defendants were convicted of smuggling drugs on a particularly large scale. They are already serving prison sentences under Part 3 Article 305 and Part 3 Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
