Due to the expected severe weather conditions on November 27, schools in Kyiv region are switching to distance learning, but kindergartens remain open. Authorities are urging residents to stay home to prevent traffic jams and facilitate snow removal.

Tomorrow, November 27, schools will be switched to remote mode due to the forecasted deterioration of the weather in Kyiv region. This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, according to UNN.

On Monday, November 27, schools in Kyiv region will work remotely. Kindergartens will work as usual! This decision was made at an operational meeting of the Technogenic and Ecological Safety and Emergency Situations Commission.

The department explained that according to weather forecasters, the weather will worsen. Due to heavy snowfall, traffic on the roads may be hampered.

This is the way the EDA wants to prevent  a collapse on the roads and enable the relevant services to quickly clear the roads in case of snowfall.

The agency urged residents of Kyiv region to stay home tomorrow to avoid  endangering themselves.

Today, November 26, bad weather is raging in the south of the country. In particular, in Odesa region, 131 settlementsincluding part of the Kyiv district of Odesa are without electricity due to the bad weather. 

The situation is similar in Kherson region. A number of settlements in the region were left without electricity due to bad weather. Stanislavska community and almost all settlements of Beryslavska community are completely without power.
