Today, the marines of the Naval Forces celebrate their professional holiday in battles for Ukraine, continuing to destroy the Russian enemy on the front lines. Their professionalism and dedication are one of the foundations of Ukrainian defense. I had the honor of presenting awards to our servicemen. The professional holiday of the servicemen of the Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been celebrated annually on May 23 since 2018. It was established to honor the courage, resilience, and heroism of the elite units, whose motto is the words "Always Faithful."
This day is an important occasion to thank the warriors who protect the state borders at sea and on land, as well as to pay tribute to the fallen heroes.
