In the village of Bohdanivka near Kyiv, a 13-year-old girl jumped into an artificial pond after a ball and drowned because she could not swim. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.

Yesterday, July 26 at 5:21 p.m., the police received a report of an accident in the village of Bohdanivka.
Preliminarily, law enforcement officers established that six children were playing volleyball. During the game, the ball fell into an artificial pond. Trying to retrieve it, the 13-year-old girl jumped into the water. Since the child could not swim, she drowned.
Law enforcement officers and medics immediately arrived at the scene. Despite resuscitation efforts, unfortunately, the girl could not be saved.
Investigators have launched a pre-trial investigation into this incident (paragraph 2, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
