NBU exchange rate: dollar and euro are getting cheaper

The National Bank lowered the official exchange rate of the dollar to 43.44 hryvnias and the euro to 50.75 hryvnias. In banks, the American currency is traded within 43.25-43.73 hryvnias per dollar.
As of Tuesday, April 14, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate at 43.44 hryvnias per US dollar. On Monday, the official exchange rate was 43.46 hryvnias per US dollar. The official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro will be 50.75. This is reported by UNN with reference to NBU data.

The official dollar exchange rate is: 43.4372 UAH (-2 kopecks) per dollar. The NBU also set the official euro exchange rate against the hryvnia at: 50.7520 UAH (-16 kopecks) per 1 euro. The official zloty exchange rate is: 11.9336 UAH (-7 kopecks) per 1 zloty.
According to data on specialized websites, as of 08:00 on Tuesday:
- in banks, the dollar is traded at 43.25-43.73 UAH, the euro at 50.60-51.25 UAH, and the zloty at 11.80-12.40 UAH;
- on the interbank market, the rates are 43.53-43.58 UAH/dollar and 50.96-51.00 UAH/euro.

In March, inflation in Ukraine continued to rise, exceeding the forecast. The main reason is a sharp jump in fuel prices due to the war in the Middle East, the NBU reported in its macroeconomic and monetary review for April.
