More than 76,000 people have been evacuated from the border areas of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. 4.4 thousand were placed in temporary shelters, the rest - with relatives and friends in other regions.

More than 76 thousand residents of the border areas of the Kursk region have been temporarily relocated. This was stated by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, reports UNN.

Details

 It is noted that 26 temporary accommodation centers have been deployed in Kursk region alone, and there are also TACs in Oryol, Moscow, Tula, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Kaluga, and Tver regions.

In total, more than 76 thousand people were evacuated from the border areas of the Kursk region to safe areas

The Russian government says that 4.4 thousand people have been accommodated in temporary accommodation centers. The rest of the evacuees are staying with relatives and friends.
