More than 18 thousand people of limited fitness work in TCC - Defense Ministry

Territorial recruitment centers employ 36,000 people out of 48,000 staff positions. 18.5 thousand employees have the status of limited fitness, many of whom acquired this status at the front.

In Ukraine, there are 48,000 positions in the staff of territorial recruitment centers (TCCs)  . In fact, 36,000 people work there, of whom 18,500 are of limited fitness.

Defense Ministry spokesman Dmytro Lazutkin said this on Suspilne TV, UNN reports.

He added that 3,000 employees at the TCC are women, and 18,500 are partially fit. Many of them have limited fitness status acquired on the battlefield, they fought at the front.

In April of this year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Law No. 10313 on ensuring the rights of military and police officers to social protection. The document abolishes the status of “limitedly fit”and now there are only two categories : “fit” and “unfit” for military service.

MP Yulia Yatsyk, who is a member of the provisional investigative commission for the protection of the rights of servicemen, said that a report had been submitted proposing to disband the TCC. According to her, more than 10 full-fledged brigades could be created from the current number of TCC servicemen. In April of this year, the commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, stated that most of the employees of the TCC are yesterday's soldiers, whom everyone admired and was proud of.
