The Ministry of Economy has initiated the reform of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" - the process is led by Ihor Zubovych. The enterprise will become a joint-stock company to combat corruption.
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has launched the process of rebooting the state enterprise "Forests of Ukraine." The transformation process will be led by Ihor Zubovych, former Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Economy.

The Ministry noted that one of the key stages will be the transformation of the SE "Forests of Ukraine" into a joint-stock company.

Among the main directions for the enterprise's reboot, the Ministry named:
- revision of approaches to management remuneration;
- strengthening control over illegal logging;
- facilitating the work of law enforcement agencies and reducing
corruption risks;
- creating predictable conditions for the woodworking
business;
- developing cooperation with communities.
The Ministry of Economy emphasizes that the reform should increase the efficiency of forest management and enhance the transparency of the enterprise's operations.
